Firewall Requirements
Q: What domains do I need to specify in my firewall for ClamXAV?
When ClamXAV communicates with our servers, everything goes over the standard, secure HTTPS port 443 so there shouldn’t be any issue with firewalls blocking access for ClamXAV - or Xenia if you use it. However, if domains do need to be specifically clearlisted by your organisation or network, the following list of FQDNs should suffice:
- clamxav.com
- www.clamxav.com
- database.clamxav.com
- cdn.clamxav.com
- cdn2.clamxav.com
- cdn3.clamxav.com
- detections.clamxav.com
- xenia.clamxav.com (only needed if you’re using Xenia)
