NB: This is pre-release software to address the issues listed below. It may contain other issues that we haven’t identified yet. New features may be subject to removal prior to release.
ClamXAV v3.9 (11101) - What’s new?
Here’s a run-down of what’s in the works for ClamXAV v3.9
- The ClamXAV menu item links out to our new account management pages.
- You can now deactivate/re-enable your devices yourself.
- Refer-a-friend has been added to the ClamXAV menu item.
- Improved the appearance of the About box in Dark Mode.
- Drag & Drop section has been improved to show the name of the last item scanned.
- Items with schedules are now badged in the Source List.
- You can now right-click an infected item and choose to exclude it from future scans.
- ClamXAV no longer needs access to Contacts data to submit a support request.
- General bug fixes and speed improvements
How to get it
You can get the beta by either downloading the installer or via in-app update.
To opt in/out of receiving beta updates via in-app update, go to:
ClamXAV -> Settings -> Advanced, and select/deselect “Enable Beta Updates”

How to revert to the non-beta version
- Uninstall ClamXAV using the partial uninstaller
- Re-install ClamXAV using the main installer pkg
