With 2023 now firmly in the rear view mirror, we would like to take a moment to reflect on some of the events of the past year for us here at ClamXAV HQ.
Xenia launched
We are delighted to have released our remote management console for ClamXAV, which we’re calling Xenia. This allow business and enterprise customers to manage all their Macs in one place. It allows for viewing the state of your entire fleet of Macs, running scans and database updates, performing remediation tasks, managing licences and preference settings, exporting reports and more.

Independent test results
Once a year, we take part in AV Test’s independent testing of macOS antivirus products, and we were pleased to report another set of full marks in all categories including, as expected, a 100% detection rate of malware.
We have added an additional 71,000 unique detection rules to our databases, allowing ClamXAV to continue to offer our valued customers the first-class protection they’ve come to expect.
New website
We have totally overhauled our website, not just with a new design, but we’re using a completely new framework behind-the-scenes. This allows for things like site-wide search and easy-to-update documentation and news pages. This means our amazing customer support team can provide you with even better information, and video guides, and we’ll be able to post news updates much more frequently now.
Customer referral programme
Alongside the new website, we’ve also started a customer-referral programme. For every new customer you introduce using your referral code, we’ll give you both (you and the person you refer) an additional month of ClamXAV protection for free. That means if you introduce twelve friends, you get a whole year for free! Existing customers should keep an eye out on their email for more information soon.
