Sales and Customer Outreach

We are looking to add a talented sales and marketing person to our growing team

Who are you?

You’re someone who can reach out and connect with people. A great communicator who’ll be able to reach new customers, spread the good news about ClamXAV’s ability to keep Macs safe, and help home users and businesses realise the benefits of securing their Macs against unwanted intruders. You’ll have a proven track record of customer acquisition, conversion and retention.

You’re great at solving problems, are motivated and good at working independently. It goes without saying that you are a brilliant sales person, and you’re looking to take your next career step in a team where you’ll have the opportunity to thrive. You can work to agreed tasks, but also attempt to overcome challenges by yourself. Communication comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working as part of a team.

Day to day tasks

  • Identify and connect with potential new customers at home and abroad.
  • Identify and bring onboard new resellers for ClamXAV at home and abroad.
  • Maintain an open communications channel with resellers.
  • Maintain our social media channels and communications with existing customers.
  • Assist in handling helpdesk queries and responding to users.


  • A proven track record in improving sales for a company with international reach.
  • Strong experience running and maintaining commercial social media accounts.
  • Experience of defining and implementing a sales strategy for a software product.
  • Experience writing content for and sending sales & newsletter email campaigns.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.

We’ll give extra points for…

  • Understanding of Gap Selling techniques.
  • Experience sending campaigns through MailChimp.
  • A background (or strong interest) in computer security.
  • Fluency in a language other than English.
  • Experience with Macs and ClamXAV.


Negotiable depending on experience.


You’ll be working with the team based in our Edinburgh office at Gogarburn near the airport which has lots of transport links direct into the city.
