Canimaan Software is an independent cybersecurity company who are undergoing a period of rapid expansion. As the business is growing, we require a part-time administrative assistant to join us at our modern offices in Edinburgh and help us with processing documents and general administrative tasks.
Originally available for free in 2004, ClamXAV was commercialised in 2015 and now has a large and loyal following of home and enterprise customers. The app is available in 10 languages, selling worldwide in more than 125 countries, and we are continuing to expand into new territories.
Alongside administrative tasks, we would like the successful candidate to be able to assist with responding to customers on our help desk, escalating support requests as necessary. As part of this, you will be expected to help us document our processes and procedures - a crucial task for a growing business!
The ideal candidate will be someone who is enthusiastic and able to approach tasks with confidence and professionalism. You should be proficient in word processing and office software and have have experience in simple bookkeeping tasks, as well as any other tasks we may reasonably request. Ideally, you will also be able to work autonomously in our supportive and progressive office environment.

£17,000.00 to £19,500.00 per annum (pro rata)
You’ll be working with the team based in our Edinburgh office at Gogarburn near the airport which has lots of transport links direct into the city. In January 2020, we will be moving to new offices in St Andrew Square in the heart of Edinburgh.
